The City of Ventura

The City of Ventura provides a variety of support services to attract, retain, and expand businesses by collaborating with other City departments and outside economic development organizations. As a result, we can offer a “continuum of care” that provides valuable services to businesses, big and small.  On a City level, we work with other departments to facilitate the development entitlement and permit processes, and identify possible fee incentives and deferrals. With our outside economic development partners, we leverage their resources to provide business services ranging from small business loans to employee training and recruitment.

SohoSOHO Prospecting

SOHO Prospecting was founded by Dale DeHart after over 25 years in industry, having served at the Vice Presidential level of several private and publicly traded companies, and 7 years as a management consultant. His experience with the difficulty of working fast and furious for his current clients and trying to focus simultaneously on marketing his services to his next clients convinced him of the need for the types of services that SOHO provides. In fact, nearly all the small businesses with whom he associated agreed that they needed a part-time marketing effort at a part-time cost. At the same time, the growth of the Internet as a marketing media was well-apparent and search engines were the best means of gaining visibility. Hence the name SOHO (Search-Optimized, High Output) to designate that all SOHO products and services are aimed at Internet compatibility. Since then SOHO has provided just that for its clients, assuring them that their services were being promoted to their target markets. SOHO Prospecting provides marketing services to primarily B2B businesses. They are dedicated to enabling your success by helping buyers recognize your capabilities and visualize how those capabilities can solve their problems.
