VCEDA is a 62-year-old organization, recognized as regional voice of business on issues affecting the economy in California and Ventura County. Membership in VCEDA helps leverage the power of a unified regional business group focused on stimulating the economy through advocacy and positive working relationships with key national, state and local public, private and nonprofit leaders.
VCEDA has been the catalyst for a number of organizations addressing some of our most pressing issues: Housing Opportunities Made Easier (HOME), the Ventura County Regional Energy Alliance (VCREA) and the Ventura County Civic Alliance (VCCA). VCEDA also has provided leadership in the last two rounds of Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC), saving thousands of jobs.
